Broken Chains
Broken Chains was the departmental newsletter of the Department of African American Interpretation and Presentations (AAIP). Beginning with the first issue in August 1992, the Rockefeller Library holds all issues through January/February/March 1994. This may be the final issue or it may not be; it has been difficult to determine this from the record. The purpose of the AAIP newsletter was to distribute departmental news and historical information that would be of use to interpreters and to people interested in African American history and its interpretation at Colonial Williamsburg.
