An arborist in a bucket truck trims branches from a tree at the College of William and Mary overhanging the intersection of Boundary Street and Richmond Road, so that the Bray School would be able to pass by. February 10, 2023. The Williamsburg Bray School is the oldest extant building dedicated to the education of Black children in the United States. On W&M Charter Day the building moved from its location on campus to its new home at Colonial Williamsburg on the corner of Nassau and Francis Streets.
