Visitors observe as the Bray School slowly moves south along Boundary Street. February 10, 2023. The Williamsburg Bray School is the oldest extant building dedicated to the education of Black children in the United States. On W&M Charter Day the building moved from its location on campus to its new home at Colonial Williamsburg on the corner of Nassau and Francis Streets.
